Today The Car Spotter will be talking about the recently released 3 minute trailer for Fast and Furious 7 or Furious 7 as it has been officially named.
The Fast and the Furious is an American media franchise popular amongst car fans and enthusiasts for its portrayal of illegal street racing and all things car related. It began in 2001 with the film titled The Fast and the Furious.
It has become Universal’s biggest franchise of all time after it earned $2.3 billion as of October 22, 2013. As the franchise has progressed, the budget has increased, action scenes become even more incredible and the footage is much more glamorous and Hollywood-esque in comparison to the first films.
The late Paul Walker who starred as the well known character Brian O’Conner during the films will mark his final film appearance in Furious 7 after being involved in a car crash that took his life on November 30, 2013.

Enjoy the action packed trailer that has been released. It seems the latest film will have a large amount of action with the introduction of Jason Statham as the villain character. The film features a Middle Eastern twist and a plethora of supercars, including an extremely rare and exclusive £2.2 million ($3.4 million) Lykan Hypersport produced by W motors, an Arab hypercar producer that gets driven between skyscrapers. The budget is a whopping £164 million $250 million, and it would have to be large if there are several Lykan Hypersports used in the filming of Furious 7, with some perhaps being damaged or destroyed completely.
The Lykan Hypersport has diamond encrusted LEG headlights and a concierge service is connected to the car that provides flying doctors and qualified W engineers that will fly to anywhere in the world to service the hypercar at any time.
The Lykan Hypersport produces 770bhp (552kW) and 708 lb-ft (960Nm) of torque from it’s 3.7 litre flat-six RUF tuned engine. RUF tune engines for Porsche. The Lykan Hypersport can accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and from 0-125mph in just 9.4 seconds. The maximum speed is said to be 240mph or 385km/h depending on the gear ratios. The Lykan Hypersport has a lot of features supporting it’s insane price tag. Other features include gesture recognition through the use of virtual sensors, LED ambient lighting and a 9″ hologram display with interactive motion.
