Today, The Car Spotter will be talking about the latest news that Lewis Hamilton has added another expensive, exotic supercar to his garage by buying a McLaren P1.
After recently winning the Bahrain Grand Prix it seems he has decided to treat himself to the £866,000 high performance McLaren. He already owns a variety of supercars, including his recent purchase of the Ferrari LaFerrari and his stunning Pagani Zonda 760 LH.

Now owning both the LaFerrari and the P1, the question is, when will he purchase the Porsche 918? Only time will tell.
The McLaren P1 was spotted in Monaco yesterday, finished in a metallic royal blue with gloss black wheels and side mirrors. The hybrid supercar features a blue carbon splitter, blue roof snorkel and blue spoiler/rear wing. This must have been bought secondhand as the 375 McLaren P1 units were sold within months of orders opening in October 2013.
One cannot help be a tiny bit jealous of his ability to go out and purchase extremely expensive supercars and hypercars at the drop of a hat, but he is dominating Formula One at the moment so deserves everything he gets. Clearly he is a petrol head and enjoys owning and driving impressive cars and seems to reward himself with new vehicles after achieving success. The McLaren P1 looks stunning in blue with the contrasted black specification.
