Today, The Car Spotter will be discussing Cristiano Ronaldo’s car collection and past cars.
In addition to being thought as one of the best football players in the world at this moment in time, Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have a keen interest in exotic cars.
Being an extremely well paid footballer, this is an expensive hobby out of the reach of most.
Over the years he has owned cars including Maseratis, Porsches, Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Taken from www.ronaldot.net/extra/cars/cristiano-ronaldo-cars.html is a list of his owned cars since 2006, when he was three years into his six year stint playing for Manchester United.

As time progresses it becomes apparent that his wealth has allowed him to purchase more expensive cars, such as the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Ferrari 599 GTO, Bugatti Veyron and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Back in 2012, Cristiano Ronaldo crashed his red Ferrari 599 GTB Fioran0 into a safety barrier and bounced off a wall. The car which he purchased for around £200,000 in 2008 was placed for sale for just £40,000 due to the condition. The V12 engine must have been too much for him to handle, the car having a rapid 0-60 time of just 3.7 seconds.

Seemingly his choice is mainly composed mainly of two seater supercars, and the occasional SUV in the form of an Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne’s. The Audis listed after 2009, the year when Ronaldo joined Real Madrid may have been part of the free cars Audi present to Real Madrid players for being the main club sponsor. He was definitely awarded the R8 free from Audi.

It is not entirely clear which cars he currently owns and uses and which vehicles he has previously traded in for newer models.
