The Pendle Powerfest is a motorshow that brings together a wide assortment of vehicles, enthusiasts and the general public to raise money for charity. At yesterday’s event, the funds raised went to Pendleside Hospice.

On arriving at the event just after 1pm, the place was teeming with activity, queues of people waiting to enter and unique cars streaming in to be displayed. The event began at 10am and continued until 4pm.

The first exhibit and attraction was the Lloyd BMW of Colne stand that had brought a selection of Mini’s, BMW’s and cleaning services to exhibit. These were the official sponsor of the event. There was a great line up including a white BMW X5M, Silver BMW M5, a champagne gold coloured, BMW M4, White BMW M3 and a yellow 420D Msport that included black features.

After a few hours of looking at the incredible vehicles on display, it was time to leave. We left in my friends Aston Martin DB9 that was parked up as one of the exhibits and the crowds really gathered as the elegant Aston Martin rolled out of the car park, revving now and again as the audience requested.

The Pendle Powerfest was an excellent event and I will be returning next year, certainly a lot to see for the adult £3 entrance fee.
