Following on from my blog article recently about the new Aston-Martin DB10 that will be used for James Bond’s new car, today The Car Spotter brings you the details and specification of the villain’s car for the upcoming film Spectre.
It seems to be tradition in James Bond movies that 007 drives an Aston-Martin and the villain often drives a Jaguar.
The latest film will certainly feature a very special Jaguar. The 850bhp Jaguar C-X75 was set to become Jaguar’s cutting edge supercar in 2013. It was decided by the company that the million pound extended-range petrol-electric two-seat supercar would not be produced in December 2012.

Rumours are circulating that it will be used for filming in the Spectre film.
It is understood that the car will not use it’s hybrid engine as it is said to be too unreliable, instead using Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0 litre V8.
Jaguar recently promoted a ‘good to be bad’ campaign which featured British actors playing villains and links to the Jaguar brand. This was to promote the F-type coupe.
It has not been officially confirmed that the car will be used in the films, however rumours suggest this may be the case.
In the past, Bond villains have driven cars such as the XJ8 and XJR featured in the 2006 movie Casino Royale and again a Jaguar XJR featured in the 202 film Die Another Day.
I think the car looks extremely mean and aggressive, perfect for the bond baddie. The low roofline and sporty looks ensure it will be charismatic on screen and fit well with the history of the bond enemy driving a car from the iconic British brand Jaguar.
