Today, The Car Spotter brings you the details of David Beckham’s car crash involving himself and his eldest son Brooklyn in an Audi RS6 and a female driver and her adult daughter in a convertible Mitsubishi Colt.
The 39-year old formed Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and England star was believed to have been collecting his son Brooklyn from the Arsenal training ground, London Coleny, Hertfordshire after an under-16 game against Brighton when the incident took place on Saturday 29th November. The driver and passenger of convertible Mitsubishi went to hospital and were treated for minor injuries.
David Beckham and Brooklyn were in a grey Audi RS6 estate with black alloys that received damage to the driver’s side of the car. The silver convertible Mitsubishi colt was written off. David and Brooklyn walked away from the incident but the Audi could not be used. It seems they were lucky to leave without any major injuries based on the conditions of both cars. They were said to be badly shaken by the incident. David Beckham was reportedly treated at the scene for minor shoulder injuries and Brooklyn remained unharmed. Beckham must have been fully a day later as he attended the Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday night.
It is always unfortunate to see a car damaged, particularly a car as nice as an Audi RS6 but the main thing is that nobody was seriously injured and the car’s safety features ensured the car took the damage and not the passengers.
Pictured in June earlier this year, it can be seen the Audi RS6 estate features blacked out RS spec alloys, grey paintwork and dark black privacy glass. The Audi RS6 estate seems a practical choice for London. A large boot for luggage and storage, five doors and five seats will ensure it meets the daily needs of family life. The sporty 4.0L biturbo V8 engine and huge 553bhp the car produces allows the car to accelerate from 0-60mph in under 4 seconds. Perfect for evading the paparazzi.
