Today The Car Spotter will be talking about the recent pictures of a crashed Ferrari LaFerrari in China. The Ferrari LaFerrari belongs to the 27 year old Qin Fen, chairman of Shanghai Feirong Investment co.

Reports say the Ferrari LaFerrari cost 22 million Yuan which is the equivalent of $3.5m or £2.3m due to the import charges in China and the damage looks very extensive.

The 1 of 499 Ferrari hypercar’s is extremely rare and exclusive. The 950bhp, 900Nm machine can accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds and continue to a top speed of 350kmh or 217mph. This is due to the immense 6.3 litre V12 engine that operates alongside a F1-style KERS system.

After the driver apparently lost control of the LaFerrari and slammed into a barrier, there was some serious damage done to the exotic Ferrari. The rear wheel is at a strange angle and there is damage to the rear bumper, side skirts, front bumper and front quarter, judging by the pictures. Further damage and mechanical issues are unclear.

The driver is seen to calmly be using his mobile phone once the car is at a standstill.

In addition to the Ferrari LaFerrari, it is also believed the 27 year old male owns a McLaren P1 and a Koenigsegg.

Hopefully the Ferrari LaFerrari will be repaired. I would not like to be on the receiving end of the repair bill though.
